Half Giants[]

Created by magical effect and not procreation as some of the ignorant may assume, Half Giants are humans or otherwise humanoid races whose original form is subverted and magical transformed with the deep primordial magics of Garuuld and the Primordials.

Typically either created on purpose as a reward from a Giant Shaman to their favored followers or by chance within tribes or settlements who live on top of or around ancient magical giant ritual sites. However they are created, the final results are incredibly powerful humanoids of great size and strength.

Hill - LA 4[]

  • Large Humanoid, Giant subtype
  • HD: 3d12
  • +5 STR & CON, -3 INT, WIS & CHA
  • Movement: 40'
  • Natural Thrower: Prof with all thrown and improvised thrown weapons, you may always use your STR to hit and damage with any thrown weapons and when attacking targets within close range may add both STR & DEX to hit and damage.
  • Thick Hide: +3 Natural Armor
  • Iron Gullet: You can eat and sustain yourself off just about anything that contains some form of nutrition and you will never get sick from nonmagical disease or contamination.

Stone - LA 6[]

Half giant stone
  • Large Humanoid, Giant subtype
  • HD: 4d12
  • +5 STR & CON, +3 WIS
  • Movement: 40'
  • Stonehide: +5 Natural Armor, resistance to nonmagical B/P/S damage
  • Rubblewalker: Unaffected by rubble and stone difficult terrain and may climb stone at full speed

Frost - LA 6[]

Half giant ranger
  • Large Humanoid, Giant subtype
  • HD: 3d12
  • +7 STR & +5 CON, -1 DEX & CHA
  • Movement: 40'
  • Snowsight 60'
  • Winter Hunter: ADV on survival and nature checks in winter, tundra or glacial environments to survive or track as well as your stealth checks in those environments.
  • Immunity: Cold damage

Fire - LA 6[]

Half giant frost
  • Large Humanoid, Giant subtype
  • HD: 3d12
  • +7 STR & +5 CON, -1 DEX & CHA
  • Movement: 40'
  • Forge Worker: You can see through up to 60' of thick ash or flame clearly and you gain prof in Smiths Tools
  • Born Warrior: You gain Prof in light, medium and heavy armors, martial weapons and shields
  • Immunity: Fire damage

Cloud - LA 7[]

Half giant
  • Large Humanoid, Giant subtype
  • HD: 5d12
  • +6 STR & CON, +3 WIS & CHA
  • Movement: 40'
  • Keen Senses (Sight and Hearing): ADV on perception skill checks based on either sense
  • Thick Skin: +3 Natural Armor
  • Innate Casting: at will may cast detect magic, fog cloud, light & 1 each per long rest of the following - Feather Fall, Fly, Misty Step, Gaseous Form

Storm - LA 9[]

Cloud giant 05
  • Large Humanoid, Giant subtype
  • HD: 6d12
  • +9 STR, +5 CON, +4 to one of INT/WIS/CHA
  • Movement: 50' & Swimspeed
  • Waterbreathing
  • Immunity: Lightning damage
  • Resistance: Cold and Thunder damage
  • Lightning Strike: Prof times per long rest you may use an Action to make a ranged spell attack using any of INT/WIS/CHA as the spellcasting ability with a range of 250' that deals 10d6 Lightning damage on hit, increasing to 10D10 at lv15 class level.
  • Innate Casting: at will may cast Feather Fall, Detect Magic, Identify, Levitate, Light & 3 each per long rest of the following - Control Weather and Water Breathing
